For those of you who were around and offered kind words during my freak out last night, thank you and I’m sorry I didn’t respond. *sigh* Really the whole thing was just so stupid.
Hey, this is defractum again - You should also be aware that the actual MBTI takes about 30-40 minutes to complete. I'm gathering from your post that you did it rather quickly at the end of a class, which means you probably didn't take the entire Instrument. Abbreviations of the Instrument are very common (and usually what those online quizzes are), but abbreviating it can also skew the results simply because there are fewer data points about you to analyse. So... yeah.
*nodnod* I did actually know that (about the abbreviated vs. longer version), but I appreciate the reminder. :) Someday I'd like to actually take the longer one just to see what comes of it. Because the other issue is that thanks to work and classes and other things, I've taken the shortened version so many times in my life at this point that I could probably fake it out to be whatever I wanted by now. I'm too familiar with the test and that artifact HAS to be influencing my results by now. :-P At least when I take it at home, I force myself to be honest about my answers, but yeah. *sigh* Like I said, it was a stupid thing to react over it just caught me on the raw at a time when I had no filtering layer left and that's been happening to me WAY too often this year. :-P It's frustrating.
