OMG. I finished Deathly Hallows last night/this morning just before 1 am. I'm going to re-read some parts of it later this morning.

YES. All that time I thought it either didn't mean anything other than 'hey this is a part of his mother he can carry with him' or whatever....but so. MUCH more significant. I thought I'd hate it, but I rather like Snape/Lily.

I'd love to read fics about their friendship. Of course, now I'm going to have to reread the books all over again (and I JUST did that, too! LOL) to try and catch other subtleties.

You know, I did....but there were about thirty minutes worth of reading where I thought I quite didn't. I was relieved when that feeling lifted, and on the whole I loved it, really ( ... )

I agree with you on the Remus and Tonks thing. I was so disappointed that JKR killed them...and barely wrote about their deaths at all. Same goes for Fred, honestly. And yes, I wish there was more Snape time, but I absolutely adored the chapter dedicated to his memories. And I'm very supportive of Snape/Lily, so that was an even better surprise. I didn't think JKR would confirm it.

The epilogue did leave a lot to be desired. I especially wish George had been included...it would have been nice to make sure he didn't kill himself after Fred's death, heh. Certainly would have been devastating for him. And I have to agree with what everyone else I've talked to about this has said--WTFSCORPIUS.

But other than that, I really enjoyed it. It surprisingly doesn't even bother me so much that it was the last book. I'll probably just get addicted to fanfiction again. -.-;
