And hey, fighting isn't always a bad thing. From a strictly psychological perspective, it establishes in very clear-cut terms who is the leader and who is the follower, and so goes a long way towards preventing future conflict, much more than any amount of hashing ever could. Also, because the loser was allowed to fight, and thus allowed to do his best to help himself, he's psychologically more likely to get over it and move on.
