...is this cute overload, or just scary?

My piano teacher gave me the go ahead to start working on Beethoven's Apassionata Sonata. It's something I've spent my entire life wanting to play, but I never felt I had a realistic shot at doing it.  All the hard work over the past 1.5 years has paid off!

Now this is a good April Fools Joke. It really struck a chord with me given some of the things I've been trying to listen to lately.

Note to self:

Self, the next time you read a notice about staying indoors from 12-5 PM because Facilities Maintenance is going to be spraying a killer bee infestation, please be sure to check and make sure the date is not April 1st.

My colleague Todd Young just came by my office complaining that he was trapped here at school because the rising water has covered the highway north out of town. The Hocking River is supposed to crest later tonight -- it might be at a high enough level to flood East State Street again, but I haven't been driving around to look.
