Well. That sucked. Got told today at work that all of Customer Care will be redundant by mid-September. Apparently, we're being outsourced to a company based out of "North Ryde and Manila". Partly due to cost, and partly due to performance ( Read more... )

We average a wait time of about 24 seconds but our abandon rate is targeted at 3%. Wankers.

Nope. Been there less than a year, therefore get squat. Maybe a week's pay, but the details aren't finalised yet.

Thanks for the offer of resume-throwing. I might take you up on that if Mum doesn't have any jobs going at the moment.
