So I figured that since I forked over the cash to change my username, I should probably post here more often. A noble goal, to be sure. Have some randomness, to get you caught up on all the useless shit you don't actually care about

I really must do more cross-stitch. If only all the cool stuff didn't require counting. :(

It really doesn't involve all that much counting! Once you get the hang of it, it's more building shapes off existing shapes. Your brain will invent a shorthand for it. I stitch mostly in Tetris shapes, rather than by counting.

On the rare occasions I do need to count, it's usually no more than seven or eight stitches.

But if you're up for a Spotlight trip sometime soon I could be encouraged to have another shot at it.

We really should do another Spotlight run, especially as we're approaching craftin' weather. I shall keep you posted.

How were the Dads? (That's what I call them now, because I'm cool like that.) I really wanted to go, but pooooor.

They were wonderful! Very, very energetic and enthusiastic. Definitely a great band to see live.

One of these days, I shall make you a stitchin'. Sadly, my folder o' patterns disappeared when my HD died a while back, so I'm still in the process of rebuilding.
