I was having a dream that I had a seizure at work and had to be taken to the hospital because my topiramate prescription has run out and my neurologist's office is slow as can be at refilling scripts, despite my calling well ahead of time. Dang it. I was 0.2 pounds away from my mini "goal" weight that I've been working toward for a month now this morning. Since I'm only allowed to officially weigh in once a week, I have to wait a whole week before getting there. I considered chopping off my hair. Or pooping. But I did neither. Just have to wait. :(

How does one make life easier?

I have visited many people in a nursing home (having a dad who runs them allowed ample opportunities).

I have sat for hours reading Reminisce magazines, playing bingo and feeding the elderly in nursing homes and trying to be a light and smile to lonely people.

I'm so tired of being tired and in pain.

I was supposed to be off narcotics now. I haven't been able to make it through a full day yet. I try so hard and by the end of the day I'm SO EXHAUSTED and the pain is SO BAD that I'm ripping people's heads off (figuratively) at work and I can't concentrate on anything. Went in for my tests today. First up was my EMG/NCV. The NCV part wasn't so bad. They hook these electrodes up to you and then shock different parts of your arm to see how quickly the electrical shock travels through your nerves. Measure your arm length and stuff. Some of the shocks are pretty strong, but it's not HORRIBLE. Tolerable.
