Ahem, hello there. I'm at work right now. I meant to make a stupid obligatory comment that shouldn't really be obligatory. That word looks funny.
Anyhow, severe weather things keep coming in and I keep having to update. I don't like using my voice on the air much, but it's ok. Now every ten minutes I have to say:
"This is your NewsRadio WJPF severe weather update. The National Weather service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Williamson County, Illinois that will be in effect until 8:43 PM. In addition, a severe thunderstorm warning will be in effect for Franklin county Illinois until 8:26 PM."
That. Cool beans. I wish I could use IM programs here, but they're strictly banned. I've seen people using them, but I think playing it safe would be wise.
