So, I planted some blueberry bushes in planters and am hoping I will get berries from them next year. I also want to get a strawberry plant for the patio and maybe a tomato plant. Unfortunately, it looks like I won't be able to get a garden done in the back yard this summer due to 2 more pressing items. The first is that I need a new water softener

I liked A Dance with Dragons better than A Feast for Crows. Probably this is just because I like the characters better. I didn't notice the writing being non-uniform, apart from character-to-character, when I figured it was supposed to be like that.

I planted two tomatoes and an oregano. One of the tomatoes is in a hanging basket, and the other is in the ground. Kamikaze has already started peeing on that one. Fortunately he is a terrible aim and only ends up peeing kind of close to it, which might be more like fertilizer and less like acid.

Yeah, when I am able to get a garden up in the backyard I will probably have to fence it off from jasper. He is a dog that loves to dig...which doesn't make that much sense with his breed, but I guess he is digging trenches for when things try to fall on him? No idea.

On the flip side I forgot to mention the part of my lawn is made up of chives. So it is nice to mow the lawn and get that fresh cut chive smell.
