Make a paragraph. This is supposed to be what your year was like:
yeah...baby sit cousins. today was a day. so, no updates because of mucho business stemming largely from baseball. Long time, no entry. ...okay, not really, just back from La Casa Di Cardoza (hope the spanish is right...actually i'm sure it's not). yeah, i am the white kid who hangs out with jerome. "They really are, dude." ...tonight was pretty cool. "...T.S. Eliot...and you're awesome." Last night, I tried to make everyone happy. JVaritek34: guess who just called me. I keep forgetting to write in my LiveJournal.
Funny, the majority of them are me noting how i don't write in my lj...

Yes, yes, the top tens have not been coming with the proper frequency, now, have they? It is, thus, time for me to once again return to the realm of listing ten things which I like and which fit the appropriate topic (of my choosing of course).
With no further ado (Except to mention that I gave blood today, yay for me! And today was pretty cool in general...oh yeah and I got an A in Art, so that's good...four of my pieces taken for exhibition, including one i did in ten minutes...Eating is nice)...

Top ten entertainment individuals 2005 (celebrity doesn't really fit for some of my choices...)
10. Isaac Brock (Even with Modest Mouse touring, and touring excellent, he manged to discover a great band in Wolf Parade)
9. Kyle Baker (The world's second most important cartoonist had his share of great stuff in 2005)
8. Akron/Family (OK...a band, not a person, but their self-titled debut was one of the best 2005 albums, I'd go back and put it at #4 if I wasn't so lazy and they also had another album with Angels of Light, truly innovative stuff here)
7. K-Rino (also 21 years ago, K-Rino, the greatest rapper ever, began rapper...and his 2005 release "Worst Rapper Alive" still stands as a true classic)
6. Gus Van Sant (Excellent director as exemplified by Last Days)
5. Colin Meloy (The Decemberists really took off this year with The Tain and Picaresque and touring, and it payed off when they signed to a major deal...and Meloy's still at touring on his own)
4. Stan Sakai (Usagi Yojimbo...21 years of greatness and counting)
3. Andy Runton (Between Free Comic Book Day and two great graphic novels, 2005 was the year of Owly)
2. Sam Beam (he really developed his sound this year, with "Woman King" and his collaboration with Calexico)
1. James Kochalka (continued his output of graphic novels and comics, while the world at large finally became exposed to his music through his Best Of CD, "Our Most Beloved" put out on RykoDisc)
Now I'm going to talk like Thom Yorke: s theIR yu hv my opINonS but tHey ARE woRTh as liTTl az eLfs amONGst GIant tres, ya?
That's the name of the upcoming Radiohead album you know. heh.
It's awesome to make fun of Radiohead 'cause no matter how much they're made fun of...they're the best band in the entire world, so it doesn't matter. Can't wait til the new album that next year promises...
