On being shinily busy :) And warm fuzzies about my lovely friends.

Sorry if I've not been around much, I'm spending more and more time out in the real world, which is nice, but it does mean that I get lazy about updating!

Another beerbust came and went, much fun was had by all! Many many embarrasing pictures were taken. I've got more pics from the last few nights out than I've taken in years!

Hev and I went to Wales last weekend. My friend Tim's parents have a caravan so the three of us went along with the lovely Ian and another friend of ours Chris. It's the five of us who are going to New York in January (HOTEL IS BOOKED!!! WOOOO!!!)
We had a very silly time, the endless rain that we've been having for over a month broke into glorious sunshine so we were able to have a barbeque and have a walk around... but we mainly stayed inside the caravan and drank! We all got very hammered indeed, took millions of videos this time!

Ian and Tim are so daft, we have clicked with them so well, really on the same wavelength and have become pretty much best friends really quickly. I've known both boys nearly a year, Ian actually trained me when I startd with the company, but apart from some fab little chats with Tim on coffee breaks (always meaning to do something more) and the odd work related query to Ian, I'd not really become friends with them. Then India came up, and Ian and I obviously became close through that experience. So much so that he can get away with murder with me. Oh yeah, loving him to pieces may have a little to do with that. (ugh I HATE unrequited love)
Mr Tim came on board when we moved over to the new job and we started to really talk to him. He came on a beerbust, got cooked for by the lovely Kirsten and we fell into socialising on a regualar basis. As in.. all the bloody time. We definitely see Ian more than his so called girlfriend does. What makes it all the better, is that Tim really doesn't like the Verity woman either.. hehehehehe

Oh yes, then there's Chris who as I said, came to Wales with us. But never moved from one corner of the sofa thingy. For the entire weekend... even when the other 4 of us were crowded under a duvet all snuggly in the opposite corner, he never budged. Wouldn't dance about or be silly. (which is kinda vital around the ladies) Yet he says he had a fab time!
He's very young, only just turned 20 and he's very immature. He gets overexcited at the silliest little thing (which is endearing I guess) but also makes you kinda weary, and he's just not clicking in the same way as us, Tim and Ian have. We're trying to make a real effort with him, as he is coming to New York (it was originally his and Ian's plan, before India, Chris was Ian's closest work buddy) but, he won't be 21.. can you imagine the problem's that's going to cause?! He actually thinks he's going to be able to get a fake ID that works!!

This weekend has been kinda mad. Tim, Ian and I had to pop back to our old building to book the holiday for the 4 of us, then they wanted to go to Borders to pre order Harry Potter ready for the midnight opening on Friday (yay! My boys are coming with!) we had a coffee in Starbucks and got roped into the SCARIEST damn HP quiz!!! These kids were verging on violent over question specifics!!! We were traumatised by it!
We went Bowling yesterday.. Chris was far too excited by this, he want's to make some sort of team... and we can't go too often, Ian shows us all up :S Last night was spent getting Tim into the TV show marathin mindset by getting him addicted to 'How I Met Yor Mother' He's singing the theme tune now and quoting too!
Next up.. well other than Supernatural I dunno!!

As for today...
Over the last couple of months Ian has been trying to improve my lifestyle, because I love him and he can get away with murder, I have been following along with his suggestions. I have given up coffee (my favourite thing) in an attempt to get rid of the dark eye circles that disappeared when I was in India. Of course it hasn't worked, I think it's because when I was in India, I also slept alot better than normal and um.. yeah.. TAN! But anyway.... I am now saving some money so I can go on holiday and I've put more into a sharesave scheme, I am being taken food shopping and I think he's going to spend some time taching me to cook... and today.......
He and Tim completely rearranged my flat. I threw away SO much stuff! It looks so different! There's a way to go, the kitchen needs a good clear, and my bedroom is tidy but needs a clothes sort out and needs to be made to look a bit more homely.
Was very stressful seeing all my life put into piles all over my floor as they sifted through stuff, but as Ian said.. the smile on my face at the end was worth it! I only had to tweak one thing once they'd gone in order for it to feel more 'mine'
*happy sigh*

I just feel so happy and lucky at the moment. Thet my 2 best friends get on with the new and I have plans stretching happily into the future. (Including Kirst and I taking Tim to his first gig *evil grin*)
Sorry for the rambling, I shall start updating more often so I don't have to write stupidly long entries that noone will read!!
