Bits and Bobs
Well, the Supernatural marathon is over for another year :(
I had fun though, I could watch those boys all day and night!
And it was great to have a night with Kirsten, I can't remember the last time it was properly just us.. I suppose when I went up to hers for a weekend, but we went to the cinema on the fri, and Em was there on the Sat. It doesn't happen much any more.
Friday night was just us, drinking and watching crappy movies (High School Musical and Freaky Friday :D )
I have the week off now :D I was going to take Thursday and Friday off to Clean the flat to within an inch of it's life in preperation for Ian's party on the Friday night, but then I needed an extra day to try and sort out some horrendous money troubles (I am SO screwed :s ) and in the end, Tim and Ian told me just to take the week off, as I actually haven't had any proper time off since Christmas (We don't count India, I was actually at work :P)
Nervous about Ian's party, I really hope he enjoys it! Because we keep talking about it, I'm worried he'll expect more than it actually is, which is just a small group of friends eating, drinking and playing Scalextric! The present too is a worry, it's a cool present (we got him a digital Photo frame) but, he's EVIL to buy for! I'm also in charge of the work birthday fund for him, as I supposedly know him best and he asked the normal buyer if I could pick... I have NO ideas!!
Still, we have most of the guys who were in India turning up as a bit of a surprise, so that shouls make him happy :D
We found out that the school I used to work for is definitely closing (you may or may not remember the mas of events we held last year to try stop it. It was put back a year but it's definitely happening now. My sister still works there and she was/is in charge of all the campaign stuff. They're having a protest outside the final council decision meeting thingamy tomorrow but the nail is pretty much in there. So much so that my niece had only just started the first year 2 weeks ago and my sister has already managed to find her a place in a different school and she starts there tomorrow!
Pub quiz again tomorrow hopefully! Hope Ian remembers to bring our winnings from last time!
