here. “Yuuko-sensei…” she looked up from her tea to face two very worried looking teenage girls and slightly concerned Himawari. “Fai-sensei didn’t eat breakfast.” She had noticed that, but with the man’s size she figured he did not eat much to begin with. He possibly couldn’t to maintain that weight, and she wondered if Kurogane would ever be able to help Fai with that particular problem of his. She worried sometimes that having someone like that around would only make things worse. Still, other things could have explained his lack of eating that particular morning. He could have been preoccupied with thoughts of how quickly he could get Kurogane back up to bed so they could continue making up. They had been sitting together at breakfast which she had counted as a good sign.
“He didn’t come down for lunch either. I waited for hours in the kitchen with a sandwich I prepared especially for him,” Yuzuriha chimed in. She did not see how that was necessarily a bad thing if he had been spending that time in bed with Kurogane, licking and biting and hips thrusting. She sighed dreamily; she couldn’t wait to see the video tapes from the hidden cameras she had set up in their room.
Just to be safe, “Have any of you girls seen Kurogane-sensei this morning?”
“Ano, he’s been with Syaoran-kun, Doumeki-kun, and Watanuki-kun since just after breakfast.”
She frowned; she was going to have to talk to those teachers later about their failures to provide her with gay porn while they were on their romantic weekend. However, it was troublesome that Fai had been sulking in his room all morning. It certainly was not good for his mental health. Not eating was not going to change the past. She stood and placed her hands on Yuzuriha’s and Sakura’s shoulders. “Girls, you love Fai-sensei, right?” All three of them predictably nodded enthusiastically. “You know he came here to have a romantic weekend with Kurogane-sensei, and clearly the two of them have not had enough alone time to do the sorts of things adults like to do on a romantic weekend.” Yuzuriha nodded with the same enthusiasm, Himawari nodded a bit more hesitantly with a faint blush, and Sakura looked politely confused. “So, we are going to make sure the two of them have a nice, romantic evening together on the beach!”
“Himawari-chan, find Watanuki. Sakura-chan, find Syaoran-kun.”` She handed them one of the school’s credit cards. “The four of you are going to go shopping for dinner for our starving teachers. Think date food.” Hopefully they would at least pick up some type of finger food. That would be a good idea. “Yuzuriha-chan, go keep Fai-sensei occupied for a few hours. Try to get him in a better mood.” He needed to at least no longer be sulking if this plan was going to work, and those teenage girls were usually just the thing to lighten his mood. “Under no circumstances should you mention Souma.”
“What’s wrong with Souma-san?” The girl looked genuinely puzzled.
“Think of how you feel when I mention Fai-sensei is having a romantic weekend with Kurogane-sensei, and that’s how Fai-sensei feels when he thinks about Souma-san and Kurogane-sensei in the same context.” It wasn’t exactly the same, she was sure, but she hoped the similarities would keep Yuzuriha from mentioning Souma’s name to Fai. “The idea is to put him in a good mood.”
“Right, you can count on me, Yuuko-sensei!” She saluted before dashing out of the room, scooping up the white Mokona on her way out. Himawari and Sakura both nodded at her before they walked much more gently out of the room to find the boys. She hoped they would be able to take care of things properly. Hopefully, Yuzuriha would be able to at least get Fai out of bed before the evening or else their plan would not even be able to be put into action.
“Mokona,” she called to the black one that had been left alone in the hallway. It hopped into the room and onto her lap. “The two of us are going to go shopping.”
“For what?” it asked, ears perking up as it started bouncing around in her lap.
“Alcohol!” They would have to try things naturally to make sure it tasted alright, and of course, they would have to get several different varieties to make sure they had something that would go with whatever the children bought. She and Mokona could not let the rest of what they bought go to waste, so they would have to drink the rest themselves.
“What’s the occasion?”
“Kurogane and Fai are going to be having a very special evening on the beach tonight, and I think they could benefit from a little bit of alcohol.” Depending upon how Yuzuriha’s conversation with Fai went, they might actually need a lot of alcohol. Besides, Kurogane would definitely appreciate it after the weekend he had been having.
“Sex on the beach?”
“Exactly.” And maybe some wine for the two lovebirds. “Alright. Let’s go. We have a lot to do if we want to save their relationship this evening.” Mokona hopped on her shoulder as she picked up her purse. They were going to have a good time shopping for the two of them. Or at least they would have fun testing the alcohol.
Finding a spirit shop was easy enough, she had seen plenty on their trip to the boardwalk the previous day. Mokona hopped into her bag as she walked into the store. It tried to poke its head out of the bag and ogle the alcohol, but she pushed its head back down. There wasn’t many people in the store, and she didn’t want the creature to create a commotion by hopping around the bottles, tasting everything in sight. She would just have to get a few select bottles that looked good and share them with Mokona when they got back to the beachhouse.
She went to the wine aisle first since that would be most likely the best choice for a romantic dinner at the beach. Picking up a bottle of red wine, she carefully inspected the label. She was not about to spoil the evening by buying them an inferior bottle.
“Yuuko-san? Is that really you?” She placed the bottle back on the shelf and turned to the person who had spoken to her. He, or it might have been a she, the body shape made it rather difficult to determine gender, had long, black hair swept into a high ponytail. Yuuko took a moment to admire the person’s choice in red chain earrings that dangled to the individual’s shoulders. Yellow eyes smiled brightly at her, which she thought was a bit odd. Then again, she couldn’t even decide on the person’s gender, so perhaps the eyes shouldn’t have affected her at all. She knew she had seen that face somewhere before, a long time ago, back when it probably still would have retained a childish quality to it.
“Ashura-kun?”
“Hai, Yuuko-san,” he told her with a smile. “I thought I had mistaken you.” Now she was seeing the resemblance to his father; it must have really only been a few years since she had last seen him. He looked much more mature than she remembered.
“Have you seen your father recently?” she inquired, having no desire to see the older Ashura. Besides, if he was there, she was going to have to rush Fai out of there as quickly as possibly before he got himself into any more trouble on this vacation.
“Yuuko-san, surely you know my new position prevents any direct contact with people like my father.” She was unsure what his new position was; she had known for a while he had been serving as a police officer. “My new position puts me in charge of all the cover-ups that come through our department.”
“Oh, what happened to Tanaka-san?” He had been very considerate to work with. Not that she thought Ashura would be difficult to work with, but these things were never easy when she had to deal with somebody new who possibly had not done their homework on her connections to the department.
“He felt it was time for him to retire.” He shrugged and picked up one of the bottles of wine to look at it. She picked up a bottle she had singled out earlier and moved to the hard liquor. She had a feeling somebody was going to need it by the time the evening was over. Ashura skillfully followed her. “Since you brought up my father, do you mind if I asked whatever happened to that blonde he was with? The one who by all accounts should have gone down with him were it not for your school’s cover-up.”
“He’s still with us. In fact, he’s spending a romantic weekend at this beach with his lover.”
“Male or female?”
“Male.” She felt she should refrain form adding that it was a male Fai seemed to be especially fond of. She could not remember him taking a trip somewhere with anyone before, probably afraid someone else you find out about it. She didn’t think he had spent the night at someone else’s apartment before either. Then there was always the matter of the nicknames.
“Poor man. Does he have any idea what he’s getting himself into with that guy?” To give him credit, Ashura seemed genuinely concerned about a man he had never seen before. Then again, he was the only member of that family to stay away from it all. He knew firsthand what it was like to get involved with something like that and as a result would not wish it upon anyone.
“Probably not, but I’m fairly certain he can take care of himself.” Ashura looked intrigued when she turned towards him. “Perhaps you have heard of him. His name is Kurogane.” She would feel much better about working with him in the future if she knew he had done his research on his predecessor’s work.
Ashura seemed thoughtful for a moment before his face lit up. “I remember him. He was connected to the Daidouji’s.” She nodded in confirmation as she pulled the largest bottle of sake she could find from the shelf. “I remember thinking that was a lot of money to be spending on a complete stranger.”
“Souma asked that they do it. That had to have been in your records.” She made her way swiftly to the checkout. Some of that alcohol was starting to look far too tempting, and she was fairly sure Mokona had opened one of the bottles and was drinking from it.
“Yes, but Souma did not know him before then. Someone else had to have put her up to it, and I want to know who.”
“The case is closed; that’s why it’s in your department,” Yuuko informed him as she put the bottles on the counter. “If you wanted to solve mysteries, you took the wrong promotion.”
“Yuuko-san, can’t you at least tell me?” he asked as she paid and walked out the door. Ashura persistently followed her. “It’s not like I plan on getting anyone arrested.”
“It doesn’t matter if Souma decided to do it on her own or if someone else convinced her to do it. What’s important is that no one ever finds out about what happened.”
“So they’re both keeping secrets from each other. How does that relationship work?” Not very well at the moment, but she intended to change that. At least they seemed to always enjoy the sex when they weren’t getting along personally quite as well. “Oh, I’m late for my date,” he said, looking at his watch. “It was nice to see you, Yuuko-san. I suspect we’ll have dealings sometime in the future.”
She was sure they would as well. Teachers and students could never seem to stay out of trouble at Horitsuba. She let Mokona drink from one of the bottles as they made their way back to the house, taking the occasional sip from it herself. As long as thy stayed out of the wine, they should be fine in their plans for that evening. The other drinks they had picked up weren’t exactly romantic, but it would get anybody else rather than those two drunk rather quickly. She wondered how difficult it would be to get a hidden camera set up on the beach. It would probably be too obvious and difficult to rescue without someone noticing. Well, she had brought some of those surveillance tapes with her. She would just have to settle with those for the evening, and mentally change the background to a beach.
She found the four food shoppers in the kitchen unpacking when she returned. She quickly surveyed the food they had brought, praised their efforts, and snuck a strawberry when they weren’t looking. “Sakura, Himawari, Watanuki, you stay here to prepare dinner for them this evening. I’ll send extra help down in a few minutes.” Tomoyo needed something to do in the grand scheme of saving her teachers relationship. Had she been aware of the entire situation, Yuuko had no doubts that she probably would have taken control of the project herself. “Syaoran, find Doumeki and wait for me to give you further instructions.” She left Mokona in the kitchen with the alcohol before heading upstairs.
She was tempted to stop at Fai’s room and see how the science teacher was faring, but in her mission to save his sex life with Kurogane, he was going to have to be forgotten for a while. Besides, Yuzuriha and Mokona would hopefully be able to take care of him. She knocked lightly on Souma’s door. “Come in.”
Tomoyo and Souma both looked up to greet her as she stepped into the room. Souma had been sitting in the window, and Tomoyo placed the book she had been reading down in her lap. “Good, you’re both here. I don’t know if the two of you were aware of this, but Kurogane and Fai have been going through a rather rough spot in their relationship.” Which she was starting to think was a huge understatement. It was going to take a really romantic evening and some very amazing sex to work the current kinks out of their relationship. And a very detailed explanation as to why Souma was not a threat to Fai. “Tomoyo-chan, I’d like you to help out in the kitchen if at all possible. Sakura, Himawari, and Watanuki are all working on preparing a romantic dinner for the two of them on the beach this evening.”
“Sure. I’d be glad to help Fai-sensei and Kurogane-sensei in any way I can.” Tomoyo left the book on the chair as she went down to the kitchen.
“How are you feeling, Souma?” she inquired as soon as the girl was out of the room.
“I’ve been doing fine. Fai-sensei provides me with some amusement, especially in regards to Kurogane,” she thought Fai and Kurogane together provided amusement as well, but she knew it was for different reasons than Souma’s. “Besides, Tomoyo doesn’t really look that much like her sister, and she’s a sweet girl.”
“Souma, would you like to help save your protégé’s relationship with the most unlikely person to ever be his lover?” She was going to assume by this point Souma at least knew the basics of Kurogane’s relationship with Fai.
“What can I do?”
“Follow me.” She led Souma outside to where Syaoran and Doumeki were waiting. She wondered where Kurogane had gone off to, but decided she would worry about that later when it was actually time to find him to put their plan into action. Syaoran looked anxious to be there and unsure of what Yuuko wanted from them. Doumeki seemed unaffected by it all, and she was struck with the desire to know what he and Kurogane had been doing with their time together. She quickly shoved that desire aside; there were more important things to be worried about.
“I want the two of you to find a special place on the beach. Syaoran, think of some place you would like to take Sakura for the evening. Doumeki, think of where you would take,” she was so tempted to say Watanuki, but that was simply too much speculation on her part, “someone special to you. Souma, go with them and once they find a spot, guard it until Kurogane brings Fai there later this evening.” They nodded, and she felt slightly bad about leaving Souma alone on the beach as they walked off to find a spot.
Her part in this beyond organizing everything was going to be making sure the children and Mokona stayed inside the house to give the two teachers some much needed privacy. She went back to the kitchen to supervise the rest of the food preparation. She placed a bottle of red wine in the basket with food and sent it off with Syaoran to the spot where Souma was waiting with further instructions for her. Once he returned and told her everything was set up, she went off in search of Kurogane.

Syaoran, while he had wanted to spend time with Sakura on this vacation, was not about to complain about getting special training from Kurogane-sensei while Watanuki and Doumeki watched. Occasionally, Syaoran would take a break and Doumeki would spar with their teacher for a while, martial arts not being Watanuki’s favorite activity. He couldn’t decide why, but on the rocks that particular morning, Kurogane-sensei seemed tireless, seeming as strong as when Syaoran came back in as he did before Syaoran had taken his break, which didn’t make any sense to him. Kurogane-sensei was not as young as they were, but he continued to effortlessly beat him and Doumeki in the small practice ring they had created. He wondered exactly what the difference was since he had known Kurogane-sensei to be lagging at the school on occasion. He sat on the rock, analyzing the teacher’s moves carefully as he drove an exhausted Doumeki from the ring again. He didn’t know where anyone could pull that type of energy from.
“Syaoran-kun! Watanuki-kun!” Slightly grateful for the distraction, he and Watanuki both turned to see Himawari waving at them energetically as she walked towards them, Sakura by her side. He more than welcomed the arrival of Sakura and decided Doumeki could survive at least a few more rounds in the ring.
“Himawari-chan!”
“How is Kurogane-sensei doing?” the senior student asked as she watched the mock match in the circle of rocks they had set up.
“He has a lot of excess energy today,” Syaoran remarked as a particularly powerful blow almost pushed Doumeki to his knees.
Sakura and Himawari motioned for Watanuki and him to come closer. “Yuuko-sensei is planning a romantic evening for him and Fai-sensei, and she wants us to buy dinner for them,” she told them in a conspiring whisper, glancing every so often at the duelists to make sure Kurogane wasn’t listening to them. At the very least, it would give him time to spend with Sakura-chan.
He cast his own furtive glances at the two as the other four of them snuck away. Kurogane seemed to be too focused on his own body’s movements, but he thought he noticed Doumeki give them a look of disapproval as they snuck onto the sand and towards the store. “Yuuko-sensei said she wanted us to think date food,” Sakura explained as they walked along the shore. Syaoran kept reaching his hand out to hers but kept pulling it back at the last possible second.
“Well,” Watanuki had a faint blush tinting his cheek, “knowing Yuuko-sensei, she probably has more than romance planned for them. She probably is thinking sensual food, which means a lot of finger food.”
The statement brought horrible visions to Syaoran’s mind of Fai sucking languidly on Kurogane’s fingers. It took a while before Syaoran realized it was a memory and not a horrible hallucination. He shook his head to clear the images from it as he realized Watanuki had continued talking. “…so aphrodisiac food is best.”
“Fai-sensei told me chocolate was an aphrodisiac and the darker the better,” Sakura offered. Now he had horrible images of Sakura licking dark chocolate dripping from Fai-sensei’s fingers. Now that one had to be a hallucination. “It was on Valentine’s Day. I found him in the kitchen after school making a special batch of extra dark chocolate for Kurogane-sensei. He said he wanted to do something special with Kurogane-sensei that evening.” Syaoran instantly decided he did not want to know what that ‘something special’ was. The two of them already screwed like bunnies. He knew this. He was usually the one who walked in on them. The worst time had been when Yuuko sent him to the teacher’s lounge to get something for her, and Fai was moaning on his back on the couch with Kurogane on his knees beside it, tentatively sucking the science teacher’s cock. He had never mentioned the incident to anyone because he knew if rumors started circulating Kurogane would track down the source and kill him before he could blink. He had walked in on them in more positions than he had ever imagined in almost every area of the school, but that incident really suck out in this mind because of the added danger of Kurogane potentially killing him if he ever found out someone had seen him in such a vulnerable position.
He decided to clear his mind of all sexual images involving anyone and focus on his current situation of being with Sakura and the other two, but Watanuki became horrible company when Himawari was around. He started fawning over her, and the only person who could ever seem to pull him out of it was Doumeki who they had cruelly left at the mercy of a possibly sexually frustrated Kurogane-sensei. Syaoran just realized he had not walked in on the two of them going at it all weekend. Maybe that was why Yuuko was planning the romantic evening for them, and he resolved to keep himself locked in his room for the evening, or possibly by Sakura’s side. She seemed to have never walked in on the two of them.
“Do you think we should get some stuff to make them finger sandwiches?” Himawari politely asked as they stopped to buy produce.
“Finger sandwiches are good. They can feed them to each other,” Watanuki informed her. “You know, I’ve always thought those cucumber sandwiches looked intriguing.”
“And cucumber is nice and cool to combat the heat,” Himawari added enthusiastically.
Syaoran reached for one of the cucumbers at the same time as Sakura. Their fingertips brushed lightly against each other and they both pulled their hands away with a blush. They apologized simultaneously, and this time he allowed Sakura to pick it up and place it in their bag. “Watanuki-kun!” Sakura turned her attention to the older boy and broke the awkward silence between her and Syaoran. “What are some of the other aphrodisiac foods?” An elderly woman stopped in the middle of picking up a plum and stared at her.
“Ano, there’s almonds, red wine, honey, coffee, ginger, garlic, raspberries, strawberries, bananas, vanilla, pineapple, honey and carrots.”
“I found some honey glazed almonds,” Himawari said, depositing the tin in the bag on Waktanuki’s arm.
“Here’s some raspberries and strawberries,” Sakura offered as she handed them to Syaoran. They were going to need to find some chocolate and vanilla for all this fruit. Maybe he could steal some of it to share with Sakura later in the evening; he saw absolutely no reason why Kurogane-sensei and Fai-sensei should get to have all the fun. The two of them had enough fun on their own as far was he was concerned. Again, he made a mental note to barricade himself in his room that evening. Watanuki picked a bunch of bananas and added it to their growing collection of food stuffs.
“Watanuki-kun, do you think we can do something with some garlic?” Himawari asked as she brought a few cloves over to them.
“Maybe we could make bite size garlic chicken sandwiches with it.” Syaoran was still hoping for some of those leftovers. He stayed close to Sakura’s side as they made their way through the store, following Watanuki’s guidelines as to what they should pick up. Apparently, he had some idea as to what types of food constituted a romantic dinner. Eventually, he decided they had gotten enough, and after paying with a credit card that belonged to the school, the four of them began walking back to the beachhouse, bags being carried by Syaoran and Watanuki.
“Syaoran-kun,” Sakura said as they lagged a few steps behind Himawari-chan and Watanuki-kun, “do you think the two of us could have a special dinner sometime?” Finally, the best moment of his young life had arrived. Sakura was asking him out on a date. If he were to fall dead on the sand at that very moment, he would be grateful that he had had the opportunity to die happy.
“That would be wonderful, Sakura-chan,” and she smiled brightly back at him. Even if their teachers’ relationship was not as good as it should be, he could tell it was the start of a happy relationship for him and Sakura. He knew he wanted to be with her. He was looking forward to spending the rest of the day with Sakura.
They had just arrived in the kitchen and started unpacking the bags when Yuuko returned and told him she wanted him to find Doumeki. He was a little bit skeptical of finding things for her ever since that incident in the teacher’s lounge, but, with a sigh, he reluctantly agreed to go. He knew how important Fai-sensei was to Sakura, and she had seemed so excited about the prospect of saving his relationship with Kurogane-sensei. He resolved that for Sakura, he would be parted with her for a little bit and help on this crazy scheme to ensure that their teachers continued to screw like animals which inevitably would lead to more trauma for him. However, if Fai-sensei was happy, or sexually satisfied as he was beginning to see little difference between the two, then Sakura was happy. When Sakura was happy, Syaoran was happy… until he had walked in on Fai-sensei giving Kurogane-sensei a blowjob in the stables. He had been so traumatized that time, he thought he might have spooked one of the horses when he went running by. Still, for the sake of Sakura-chan’s smile, he was willing to endure it all.
He was surprised to find Doumeki sitting just outside the house, grateful the older boy was alive even if he was a little battered and exhausted. “Where is Kurogane-sensei?” he asked, looking around to make sure the gym teacher was not lurking around. He did not want to be pulled back into training when Yuuko had a mission for him.
“He decided he had enough of me not fighting back and went for a jog somewhere.”
“Sorry we left you.” He felt compelled to apologize, even if deep down he wasn’t exactly sorry that he had managed to get away and spend some time with Sakura where there was absolutely no chance of him being traumatized or beaten to the point of near exhaustion.
“What is the chairlady planning?” Doumeki asked and Syaoran was amazed at how he somehow knew Yuuko-sensei was behind this plot.
“A romantic evening on the beach between Kurogane-sensei and Fai-sensei,” he managed to say right before the chairlady stepped out of the house with Souma following closely behind her.
“Ah. There you are.” She then proceeded to give them their instructions before disappearing back into the house. None of it made any sense to Syaoran; the entire stretch of beach looked exactly the same to him no matter where they went. He was particularly disturbed by her pause when she had been talking to Doumeki.
As the three of them stood outside the house and all possibly wondering the same thing as they tried to figure out what the hell they were supposed to be doing, the thought occurred to him that for once, he had control over where Kurogane-sensei and Fai-sensei were going to be having sex. If he knew exactly where they were going to be doing it, he could easily avoid that area. “This way,” he said cheerfully, taking control of the situation and leading the other two down the beach until he was certain they were far enough away that no one would possibly be able to see them from the house. Especially him. “How does this area look?”
“It all looks the same to me.” That was what Syaoran thought too, but at least this way they were far removed from the rest of the vacationers.
They parted ways with Souma, and Syaoran eagerly trotted back along the sand to the house. His jobs were finally over, and he was going to get some quality time with Sakura. He was greeted at the door by Yuuko-sensei who shoved a basked into his arms and a large blanket and some candlesticks into Doumeki’s with explicit instructions that they were to prepare the site for a romantic evening. With a heavy heart, he trudged back along the sand to Souma. Once there, they spread the blanket out on the ground and placed the candles in the sand next to it and the basket with food on top of it. He gave further instructions to Souma to light the candles once she saw Kurogane headed her way, and Syaoran bounded back across the sand, resolved to climb in through one of the windows if necessary in order to spend time with Sakura.
