He is so cute, Erin. :) And a very happy little baby. I guess all it took to get him to sleep through the night was messing up his teeny internal clock. :-p

we were lucky he forgave us for putting him through shots, two plane rides, all kinds of new people AND a different time zone all in a few days. And a climate change, to boot. When you've been away from humidity for a while, you can FEEL it when you get off the plane :) He was cranky for a few days after we got home, but it could have been so much worse

Aww! Very cute!

And I'm not an expert, but I am told that daycare is not necessarily bad for kids (unless it's a crappy daycare), and even helps them with socializing. So I don't think your decision is one that you must feel bad about.

it's not even technically daycare, he goes to a woman's house with a few other kids whose parents Jon teaches with. I wish we could afford for me to be a stay at home mom, but it just isn't going to happen

Thanks for the update girl! I love the pic of AJ in the pooh outfit, it looks like he's waving at the camera. You should really decide a few jobs/career possibilities before applying for tons of jobs. YOur dad amy be partly right on this one.

I know, but if the school district actually comes through this time I start classes with them next month and I'll be teaching next year. So it wouldn't be so bad if I had something part time and pseudo crappy for a year. That's assuming the school district doesn't jerk me around again... I need to call them...

Isn't it late to be getting into the district? or not?

I would go into the classroom next year and then have to teach in the same school for three years with satisfactory evaluations to get permanently certified. Until then, I would take teaching classes

your daughter is adorable too! :) I want my next child to be a girl. I love baby girl clothes. With my luck, I'll get a little girl who hates dresses; my sister used to rip bows off of any dress my parents put her in :)
