yup, we'll be there for probably 6 weeks or so. We're looking at flying out July 4 and staying until mid August. We should finally get to see everyone we missed the last trips, including YOU!

I read in the Tipping Point that Blue's Clues is better for kids because Seaseme Street was designed with the parents in mind, or something like that. A lot of the noggin shows are very educational, and they say right before them which skills they enhance. My nephew watches noggin and once Alex gets a little older I recommend Pinky Dinky Do. It teaches kids a big word every episode. Thank you for being a good parent and not using your TV as a babysitter :-)

I don't understand the point of having kids if you're just going to plop them in front of the tv, especially at this age where everything is new and exciting.

I'll keep Pinky Dinky Do in mind :)

Whatever you do stay away from Teletubbies! My youngest one loved them and it drove me Insane.

I do like Noggin. My little ones are 7 and 4 and love www.noggin.com. :}

my senior year of high school, everyone with first period free would gather in the senior lounge and watch Teletubbies. Luckily I had a class. This was right around the time Falwell decided that Tinky Winky's gayness was corrupting children. I find them kind of creepy...

Ohmygosh! I totally remember when Falwell did that. My mom had to rush out and buy a little purple Tinky Winky toy. I thought it was hilarious!
