So, Area was yesterday. And it blew balls.

I got fifth. Pretty good, right?

Except that you factor in the fact that only four advanced to state. *sigh*

It was my last shot. I had a spot reserved on my jacket and everything. And now, it'll stay blank, and I will have never made the All-State Band.

*sigh*

How are you all? I just went to the Transiberian Orchestra today. Hooooooly shit. It was amazing. Seriously, it was absolutely awesome. Watching the dueling pianists was the best.

Anyway, I saw some nifty people there, and I wish I had seen you too! :-p

I'm so tired. The play finished on Saturday. I got to sleep that night at 4:30 Sunday morning. Woke up at 8:30 for church. Yay.

Hehe...I'm cool.

So...I sent in an application to Texas Tech last Sunday. Today, I opened up three letters. The first one was from the office of admissions:

"Dear Geoffrey. Congratulations! You have been accepted for admission to Texas Tech University"

Yep. I've been accepted somewhere already. What now...??

I wonder about all the mistakes I've made in life. There are so many of them. I don't know how I can talk to them all. I don't know how I can mention them even. I'm still amazed at my friends for still being there through it all. It's sad ( Read more... )
