Anyone know a good hotel in New York?

My daughter and her boyfriend want to visit in November/December. Ideally they want a hotel with a fridge, one that isn't going to cost thousands and nearish to Times Square/MOMA that sort of area. Any ideas?

Not the cheapest, but newly refurbished and decent-sized rooms (hard to find in NYC!), and an ideal location: Belvedere New York

I stayed there with my mom in 2006 before the refurbishments and we loved it. Expedia (and other similar sites) will have better prices than the hotel website.
