I do not, in fact, have gestational diabetes, and BFL is still measuring large (or maybe I am? I'm not sure...), but they'll keep an eye on that and only do some more testing/considering towards 36 weeks if we are still larger than normal. *shrugs* Today is my last day of the second trimester.

Hooray for no GD! My brother's friend's wife was given all sorts of OMG SCARY warnings and the like because the baby was "too big" and, well, everyone was more than fine and healthy and delivery was completely normal. So just an anecdote!

Unrelated, but, do you do shape note singing? There's a documentary on it called Awake My Soul that I am dying to watch. I've been wanting to try out shape note singing for a long time but forget about it then am reminded from time to time. Of course, I'm moving to Canada now and there's a monthly sing down the street from me in Providence but... was just wondering!

I have experienced shape note singing once with friends - we went to an event that was being held. It was really fun and harmonious. The people who love it really seem to love it.

I haven't done it since because a chance hasn't grabbed my ankle and dragged me to it, but I would certainly do it again.

Awesome! And sometimes, that measuring can be inaccurate. My sister was told she needed to be induced because they thought she was leaking fluid and her baby was small... he ended up being nearly 8 lbs and was pretty long, so yeah....
