My name is Ernest Kay Macmillan, and I'm a great, lopey oaf who doesn't pay attention to when he leaves his things in plain sight of people he should not because he's too busy worrying about the NEWTS, etc.

Honestly, big brother- you should have learned by now. You'd best be glad I left your latpot where it sat.

With love,

GOh Georgette, ( Read more... )

30 points from Ravenclaw, Miss Macmillan, for stealing property after being told off for it.

Grow up, Macmillan. My cousin's more mature than you, and she's eleven. Your parents obviously didn't raise you correctly, as you seem to believe that at fourteen theft is still acceptable. It wasn't funny the first time, and this time it's just immature little behaviour that I would expect to see from my youngest cousin. He's five and an only child. You, on the other hand, are supposed to be a third year student. Apparently a clever one too, although thus far you've demonstrated that you're not particularly bright at all. Or well mannered. Your parents should be ashamed of your behaviour.

She didn't steal it, Zacharias. I left it out by mistake, and she took the prime opportunity to post as me. Which I suppose is theft, by means of identity.

No, it's theft of property. Just because she left it where you did doesn't mean that she didn't misappropriate it. Nor did she say that she didn't move it. She just said that she left it there. Thus, theft.

And my mother thought those lectures never sunk in. Hooray for parents with legal backgrounds!

It's kind of like when me and my cousins nick one of the neighbor's cars for the night, just to screw around. They're back in the morning, but we still nicked it.

Oh Georgette, you shouldn't take your brother's things. It's really not at all nice, and we need the house points at the moment. You better apologise to him before Padma sees, though, because she'll be really upset with you. Hopefully Anthony won't see it.

I'll have a chat with her. I don't believe Mother will be amused by this, nor will Father.

Also, I have decided to fail everything. I have come to this conclusion after realising that I know nothing, will never know anything and that the last seven years have been a complete and utter waste of the professors' time.

Well, you and I will be in the same boat, then. Barring divine intervention, I forsee a bitter lifetime of living in my parents' house, with Georgette just a stone's throw away.

I'm not joking about that, and if you spent less time stalking and terrorising some sixth year Ravenclaw girl to act as a cover and more time actually focusing on your studies, you wouldn't be joking. Like, how you've completely misinterpreted the Ancient Runes assignment -- it's a practical piece of assessment, designed to show that community what you can do, and you're doing a bloody schoolkid project on the history of runes! As if you know what it's like to actually be serious about this sort of thing!

So you take your jokes elsewhere, because I've three major assignments to do, and you're not helping!

Not a laughing matter. At all. God. I'm . . . I'll be hibernating.

At least she didn't tell anyone anything embarrassing Ernie!

Nor will she ever again, at least through eklectronic medium! I've charmed it, see, to give her a nasty surprise the next time she even approaches it. Seven years of Charms and living with you, my friend, have come in quite useful when dealing with thieving fourteen-year-olds! A hearty thanks to you!

Glad I could be useful! Hey, maybe Flitwick would give you some extra credit or something if it works. Worth a shot!
