WOOT!!! Finally, I got to go off-base last weekend! We went out to the closest city and went shopping. I only spend about 50 Dinar. (over 180 USD) I got some things to add to my dragon collection though. /yay and i got to eat one of those "McRoyale with Cheese" burgers. Beer?!? LOL no, this country is dry. It's illeagal to have and to drink. (but you can still find it offbase underground.) But hey... maybe once i hit stateside for mid-tour... /sigh... oh well.

i would, but i cannot get offbase without an escort.. lol and that is rare.. i have been offbase once (aside of transfer from one base to another) sence i have gotten here. ... yup, Prison Camp Doha. :P

guess what....in like, 4 weeks...you will be back here...where alchohol is LEGAL...and you can drink it:P and you'll be off base!
