HOT DAMN they sure start off with the big guns in this meme. Why not ask me what my favorite color is first? Man. Well, alright, but I won't get into 100% detail because this is going to be referred back to by at least two other prompts on this list.
Okay, well, ignoring the various dumb crushes I had during elementary/middle/high school which were not only unreturned but they were on girls I barely knew, what with me not knowing...any...girls--Or guys for that matter--my first love was with who was very likely my first real friend, which started when I was about 17. She was really pretty: flat-chested brunette with nice eyes and really nice lips. She was a really great artist and a pretty good writer. She was as stubborn as I am, so we constantly bumped heads over things, but after a year and a half or so, we realized that we both really wanted to get together.
It was pretty cute. Despite being a scrawny guy, I liked lugging her around much to her embarrassment. I MEAN HOW ELSE WAS SHE GOING TO GET FROM THE CHAIR OVER THERE TO THIS COUCH OVER HERE? Jeez. She was also allergic to a lot of things, so I developed an interest in reading about various allergies and how too cook things that would avoid using those ingredients but still end up good or how to make something that could alleviate those allergies.
She also had a sense of humor that was ALMOST as stupid as mine, so I was able to make her laugh, which was something I never was really able to do with anyone else. Everyone else in school and my family would also just insult my sense of humor or just...not get it, but finding someone I could make laugh and smile was pretty much the best thing I've ever experienced.
So, things were really great for about a year and then I...fucked up. Big time. Everyone'll have to wait for the 'Biggest Regret' prompt before you get to hear anything else, so suck it up.
