So here's something. I'm taking an introductory psych course this semester, and today we were learning about brain damage affecting memory formation/memory loss (think Guy Pearce in Memento). I think you'll find that happening a lot if you continue in Psych or Med classes...

But hey, you didn't go to study that shit anyway.

You know the military is paying us big bucks to make them super-soldiers, right? I'm not kidding. They gave the University an ENORMOUS grant last year to research a gene that inhibits muscle growth. If this gene could be supressed, humans wouldn't stop growing muscle. As long as you kept eating, your body would just continue to create muscle. While this isn't so good from an evolutionary standpoint, or really even that particularly useful on the battlefield of today, it's still pretty sweet to be able to say that you're using genetically enhanced super-soldiers.

oh wait... god that is so not as cool...
If you think that stuff's cool, you should read "the man who mistook his wife for a hat" it's all these case studies about weird brain uh, mess ups.
