i've been doing transformers stuff at work for the past couple of days. i'm designing a doodle for the transformers movie, so i've been staring at optimus prime all day. really cool artwork. and get this, megatron has TEETH!!! what the h! he looks vicious. mom asked if it brought back memories, not really, the characters look so different. optimus

oh man... i am jealous beyond words! ok. not really... maybe a little bit. yeah. anyways... that's really awesome, ellie!
i've had two opportunities to draw transformers professionally. the first company went bankrupt (dreamwave) after i started doing pinups for one of their comics, and the second one (metro) was trying to get the license from hasbro after dreamwave was no more. they used my art work to submit to hasbro. i've felt pretty special to get that far. lol i still obsessively draw transformers to this day. (don't know if you've seen any of my online galleries...they're full of em.).
i doubt you could ever post the doodles on here, but i would LOVE (love love love love) to see them!!! tf's are one thing i never grew out of.

once its printed, it'll be on our website. i'll let you know when it's out there. it was kind of a challenge, though. a doodle is a coloring page, basically. it comes with markers. and this one has flocking in the negative space, so i have to have use up as much of the negative space as i can. and i hate doing that. i like negative space, but the kids need space to color. anyway...maybe i'll hold one back, give it to you whenever i might see you (who knows when that'll be) and you can give it to caleb when he gets older! lol! where can i find your artwork? i'd like to see it.

guess blake hasn't told you yet.we're all going to be home around christmas. me, him, and derrick. btw... we need to get together then. i'm sure i'll see you at the hagel's actually. ^^ derrick, blake, and i are going to try to plan one night to head out to a bar or something i think. if you're in town, you'll need to come along! (and listen to the marines make fun of the air force guy)

anywho, it sounds very interesting. so you're doing a children's coloringbook basically right?
