So now they aren't even sure it was a stroke, the Doctor says they need to run some tests to find out what exactly happened. But they did say she'll most likely make it out of the hospital, but she'll need therapy and still will most likely have to be put in a nursing home though, so it still sucks.

Nursing homes do suck. My grandmother works in one. At least she has family to visit her, most people don't.
