And Grandma died last night. Quietly, but that wasn't really a surprise since she'd been getting Morphine injections every 4 hours since Friday morning. I guess, looking back, this was a pretty good Thanksgiving because when we went to visit her she was awake and alert, the only time she ever was since that second stroke. It could've been worse, if she'd died right after that second stroke then nobody would've gotten to say goodbye since the doctors said she'd be out of the hospital in a week or so. It's good she lasted that long though, at least the people who wanted to see her one last time got the chance.

I'm sorry, and it is better she died soon after, I feel horrible when I see people hooked up to machines like a vegetable.

Yeah, that's why she didn't want to be put on life support. A lot of people who are just end up brain dead anyway so there's no point.....it's like keeping their body alive after they're already dead.
