Norse/proto-germanic/celt religions don't, nor do the religions of most Native Americans, Aboriginal australians, Japanese, chinese, Greeks/pre-christian Romans, etc. I think the floot mythology probably stemmed from regions that seriously flooded, but then got blown out of proportion over centuries of retelling the tale.
