You know, I think I might learn how to play flamenco guitar. I know all of the modal theory & shit behind it, so it's just a matter of getting the technique right. That's the easy bit. Then I can fulfill my lifelong dream of carrying my nylon string around with me everywhere & blasting anything that moves, just like Antonio Banderas.

I used to do fingerpicking when I was in grade 5 & 6, I was pretty good at it. Once we had like a concert thing at christmas and one of my classmates was to perform some christmas carol by himself. He got so freaked out by the audience and stuff (which wasn't huge, there was like 100 people at my primary school) that the principal sat next to him and hummed the song he was sposed to play so he'd remember the tune. I felt kinda sorry for him. :( Then I got up on stage and played a song called Spanish Study, took me months to learn it. The piece probably doesn't even go for a minute, but it sounds awesome, and I got applauded to the max. Rockin'!
