or leave the tories in and you have an $8 billion (it's currently 6.2 billion, not million) deficitand we would never know about instead of us at least realizing that the budget is not balanced and that the government is at least hoping to do something about it.

I truely believe the tories would have been no better.

Oh, and I just noticed the subject on your post. Don't fool yourself, nobody actually believed that McGuinty wasn't going to raise taxes...every time we saw the "I won't cut taxes, but I won't raise them either" commercial, we laughed inside.

oh man this new budget is basically raping every taxpayer. the only winners are basically the education and health sectors, although from what i was reading, the health sector is still $500+million short of what it needs.

i personally support the sin taxes but man oh man...no more eye exams, physiotherapy or chiropractic coverage. and what's funny is that everybody knows the books wont actually be balanced by 2007.
