Homicide is the second-highest cause of death in the 5-18 year old agegroup.

Everyone get rid of your guns. Now. Put them down.

While you're at it, get rid of your tasars too.

i would guess that most of the teen homicides are gang- or drug-related. whenever this invovles a white teenager, the media goes crazy and various groups are formed to combat violence...meanwhile a black person's murder will barely raise a blip.

if violence isn't affecting a person's community directly, chances are that person isn't aware of it or doesn't care about stopping it.
