to the 2 or 3 people who read this... what up? Been awhile between posts. I had a big install for work last month and that kept me busy. Was on-call last week which had me up at night a few times. The wife and I are big fans of Jesus Christ Superstar. She from her days as a child when her dad ran a Movie theater in Uniontown, PA where she grew up. She got to watch the movie many times during it's theatrical release in the early seventies. The movie theater was basically her day care center in the summer. She was only 6 or 7 at the time. I've been expanding my imbibers palate of late with wine and whiskeys. This week I had been in the mood for some smashed grapes so I sampled a couple recent purchases.

FG = Fucking Good
G = Good
Meh = Meh, neither here nor there
S = Shite
FS = Fucking Shite
The scale allows for mutiples of Good or Shite (ie; FFFFG or FFFFS).

I had my annual review at work last week. Got a salary bump and a bonus. Bigger bonus than I have had in the past. Apparently it was a good year for the overall group. I immediately added another couple of % to my 401k deduction. With the salary increase it wont be missed, and compound interest is a beautiful thing. My funds averaged almost 15% ( Read more... )

Let's see... put in 63 hours this week including 8 Saturday. I could have gone in today and done more but I desperately needed a day to do nothing.
