We had freezing rain last night here in Austin. For those of you who aren't familiar with freezing rain, it happens when it is not cold enough up high to snow, but it is below freezing on the ground. So it rains really cold rain, which then hits the ground and freezes. Roads with ice on them do not mix with Austin drivers, so everything closes

ahh, freezing rain...i love driving in it. which is good, since things at home don't get closed down until there is like 6 inches of it. i agree, austinites are wimpy.

You know that Decatur has gotte close to a foot of snow and all my classes are of course still happening.

I hate walking in the snow. Its not fun.
