I'll never get it.

No matter how much I try, I will never, ever, fully comprehend the leaf-pepper mentality.

For those of you not in the know (AKA, the non-New England folks, essentially): Leaf-peeping is, well, just click the damn link I set up on the word there, and read the wiki page about it.

Now, I have no issue with the actual act of admiring

Reminds me of the deer watching people in West Haven...they'll stop right at the crest of a hill, then wave you by into oncoming traffic just to glimpse that buck...Too bad blaring the horn doesn't scare the leaves away like it does the deer...
