Sunday I woke up with a sort of “nothing sounds fun to me today” feeling, until Rachel remembered that she wanted to go buy some plants for our offices, and I perked up immediately. Thanks! The White Mountains have a lot of really nice tourist spots (hiking and skiing and the like) in New Hampshire. In Portsmouth, which is on the coast, there's a really awesome living history museum, Strawbery Banke, where one of my friends works :)

Good luck with your dear fern! Has it shared its name yet, or its gender? I mention this because my plant, Plant, has shared with me that Plant is non-gendered and prefers Plant's own name for Plant's pronoun. And yes, Plant's name is indeed "Plant." It was so utterly adorable when Plant told me that, and very set on the name, so I just went with it.

I don't like leaving the house without showering either.

<3333 I love you too! Sorry I'm so late in replying. My fern is definitely a lady and I'm thinking of calling her Yavanna, after the Tolkien legendarium deity who made the plants and trees (and advocated for the Ents' sentience). She's my favorite <3 And my fern is doing well even after my vacation! My coworker watered her for me.

I love that Plant spoke to you and told you Plant's pronoun! I hope Plant is doing well <3 I love you!

Street sounds like a really nifty place! I feel very out-of-touch about places in Portsmouth these days.

We should take you to Street sometime! I bet you'd LOVE it! My fern is doing pretty well even after leaving it for a week. Marybeth took care of it for me :)
