Whenever a bird is hanging around, I like to look up the spiritual meaning. This is what it said about the oriole:

Oriole,-- Ability to see how life is woven together, connection to tree spirits, ability to connect others to the fairy realm. Oriole is the symbol of approaching summer or sunshine, usually within a two-week period. An Oriole reflects this symbolism bringing sunshine (or positive changes) to your life and/or current projects.

I feel strongly that he was there just for you. ♥
