Hourly Comic day

Feb 02, 2010 08:38

So yesterday was Hourly Comics Day, in which you draw a comic for every hour you are awake (and then you post it online for everyone to, you know, enjoy). Anyone else take part?

My life is just as dull as you would think.

Part one

Part two

We got so many towels as wedding gifts... the one I'm using now is deep red and leaves me covered in fuzz.

For the past few years, I've tried to do a sketch of Kiri every night before bed. There have been a few months where I've slipped up, but I still have a shelf full of sketchbooks of these nightly drawings. The problem is that I'm so used to drawing her and know how her face is set up that I am poorly poorly out of practice at drawing my own shiny face. My hand has no idea what I look like anymore. :|

What else is new. We beat Okami this weekend, after a good 60 hours of gorgeous play time. (We're completionists, what can we say. Not a side quest left unbeaten.) We bought Dance Dance Revolution with some christmas money-- I'm sure our downstairs neighbors already wonder what the hell we're up to, since the ceilings/floors in this building are incredibly thin. DDR is my new exercise regiment, though. Working from home on freelance stuff means I don't get out much, especially when the weather is as shitty as it has been. Now I can stomp my way to health, right?

ETA:
Oh, and Ginger had to be put to sleep two weeks ago. She was 15, but it's still miserable knowing she's gone. :/
