I don't think I've ever really enjoyed an awards show as much as I enjoyed the Oscars tonight. I'm pretty much giving all the credit to Jon Stewart, Reese Witherspoon, and Heath/Michelle.

I did enjoy it. I sat through the entire thing, which is a feat in itself. I'm a tremendous channel flicker. It was pretty cool.

I haven't got to watch it yet. Damn you time difference!! BUT I can tell you now that all of Australia is in deep mourning that our boy Heath didn't come through for the green and gold.
Although no matter how much I loved the gay cowboy movie (read: the sex scenes-- I could have done without 75% of that movie being slow pans of wilderness.) I still think that Mr Leger didn't have the accent down right, I could hear the Aussie in everything he said.

You're in the industry, did it deserve more accolades?

(And Reece! So pleased for her. Think she is BEYOND lovely.)

I'm looking forward to seeing Jon's host-age. He makes me snort my soup.

I think it got what it deserved. I can't say that it deserved Best Picture because I haven't seen all of the nominees. But I still firmly believe that Crash does not. Doesn't matter though, it's over. And Crash does make people think, it just doesn't hold up.

I did love the Reese.

You'll dig Jon.

You can't take back all of it because that would entail taking back George. And you don't want to do that, do you?

I wouldn't call the Oscars reality, per se. Heh.

I didn't get to see them! I really missed out.

Yay for Heath and Michelle, just being there, man! I adore them, and love their movie to bits and pieces. One day you and I are going to watch 'Brokeback Mountain' together, side by side, shielding Sasha's eyes. I can see it now.
