We're in Montecello. Getting here was interesting, fun, and at one point really weird. Eric identified Chimney Rock....from countless hours as a fledgling geek playing Oregon Trail. Weirdness ensued as we traveled through a road construction area in the middle of the desert. No lights, just a narrow road lined on each lane with countless orange

When we travel south through Oregon, we usually take Highway 205, which runs through Oregon City. The joke is when we see the sign that says "Oregon City - 2 miles", that anyone who wants to die of dysentery had better do it quick.
