Now what specifically do you mean by digital divide? Are you talking about a divide stemmed by income or be age? Sorry, it's not a term I've run into before.

Digital divide in the most traditional sense refers to the gap between those who have access to the internet and those who do not. As access has become more universal, it has become clear that the digital divide is not just a matter of having or not having access, but also issues such as what kind of access and how competent a person is in using online resources. No one has been able to find a definite answer to what causes the digital divide, although they have made correlations between many different factors, income and age are two of those.
