Update from NM
I had forgotten how hot it gets down here. The boys have moved into a house in Rio Rancho (on the other side of the Rio Grande) - quite nice with a little patio and everything. Theophan and I went to the animal shelter yesterday. I was feeling pet withdrawl - the fish don't count as pets in my estimation - and we wanted to explore how we felt ( Read more... ) -
Shocking revelations
I have just discovered that my husband-to-be has more ties than I have pairs of panties.
Theophan is at work. I am packing his stuff because the boys are moving out of the apartment and into a house tomorrow. Packing his stuff actually has me pretty entertained. It is rather hot today, though, this being July in New Mexico and all. -

Dyna has reposed
We put Dyna to sleep this morning. My mother got back last night so we were both able to be with her, as was her favorite vet. It was very peaceful, and all her suffering was over in a few seconds. Last night I wrapped her in a blanket and took her outside. She perked up for the first time all day, smelled the grass and opened her eyes wide. I ( Read more... ) -

Many of you have met my elderly cat, Dyna. She was ill this week and went into sharp decline a couple days ago. She is suffering kidney failure and it is possible that she has either an acute infection or cancer. On the advice of our vet Dyna is on hydration treatments, antibiotics, and painkillers to make her more comfortable. Her kidney ( Read more... ) -
Grades are trickling in
I passed 540, which is all I was really aiming for. I kind of wonder if Terry went easy on me. If so, I am grateful. I struggled with that stupid paper, and I really didn't want to do 540 over. I did very well in 568 (information literacy) - including a perfect mark on my last assignment - which bodes well for what I want to do in my career. ( Read more... )
