I hate that feeling of belatedly believing I have made a poor decision. I have worked hard this past year to be less hard on myself on my past mistakes, realizing that this is part of the human experience, and moving on to make the best of where I am now-as it sounds you are doing.

My other thought is at this point you really can't know whether it really was a mistake. It may have been, and certainly you wish you had chosen differently given the information at hand. Yet, you don't know what God has in store, and so it is really undetermined at this point--an adventure to live through, in faith, one way or another!
