Stepping Spritely Once More

Just got back from one of my favorite annual dance weekends, Step Spritely. I was particularly delighted to make it this year, after missing it at the last minute last year just after my Mom was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Making it this year felt like a turning point after that saga, and not just a return to the status quo. Cassandra joined

Pattern recognition was definitely one of the cool turning points in my being much more comfortable with cascarde (to the point that I am now perfectly happy to be pulled through them even when super dance rusty, and even if they blend together too much for me to feel comfortable teaching them).

I am glad Step went so well!
