Back from another Pennsic - the best dance event in the Known World! And there’s some shopping and fighting and other stuff too. So, what do St. Cecilia at the Tower, magda_vogelsang’s birthday, having friends from Chicago over for the weekend, hosting a party that kept going until 3am, niquerio and aelkiss’s baby shower, Mothers’ Day, and the celebration of my birthday with my family all have in common? That’s right - they all happened on the same weekend. Whee!

Had a fantastic time dancing my birthday weekend away with friends and feasting like a king in Coventry Rhode Island.

The dance event charles_midair started for me is going stronger than ever 20 years later - I can hardly believe it! I was part of many plans to make our 20th Anniversary special, but I had no notion of all the wonderful things that would occur this weekend. So much happiness!

Six years ago, I was put on vigil at Val Day. This past weekend, at another Val Day I helped beg the boon for Gwommy. Apparently, it’s a good event for dance Laurels, at least for those of us born on May 5!
