Good for you! We do the same, I'm a poll worker every year and we talk to the kids about the different races (especially the ones I'm volunteering on theirs usually one or more!) I believe it's really important to teach your kids to be involved in the process. Plus during the legislative sessions we're up at the state capital when there are issues we really care about. They've both gone with me at different times to meet with our state representative about different issues. And this year I'm sure they'll both be there with me again.
