Intimately. Does the name, "Mein Herz Brennt" ring a bell?!

I felt the same way about Rammstein (the song) the first time I heard it. I had headphones on, really loud, and I thought to myself, "this is IT!" I knew right then and there that Till was the man for me. And I had never even seen his face. Same with Spieluhr and Zwitter. Well, with a lot of their songs, actually...

But before R+ came along, it happened with Black Shuck. Don't know if you're a Darkness fan (don't laugh at me if you're not, hehe). But seriously, my friend at work gave me the CD, and the minute that song started I had a HUGE grin on my face.

Weirdly, Ramstein (I am weird and compulsive about spelling it with one 'm', just ignore me! *G*) wasn't really one of my favorites when I first heard it but it's really grown on since then. But then a lot of the few songs (that's confusing) that I didn't love of theirs have grown on me. I have to say that the only one I can think of that I just have never really cared for is Wilder Wein. But then I also tend to like the harder stuff better than the soft. And yes I fully realize how that sentence I just said sounds. *G*

And... I don't know The Darkness, but I promise, my last instinct was to laugh about that. I LOVE when that happens with a band, when their music just takes hold you of you SO strongly. It's amazing.

Well, I understand the Ramstein (one m) thingy. So no worries darling! But that song, played LOUD through headphones, makes me insane!!! I totally understand the "lot of the few songs" too. For instance, Laichzeit never had an impact on me. Until I saw it live (well, on LaB). I frickin LOVE that song now! And holy hell, woman!!!! You don't like Wilder Wein?? Oooooh, but the way he looks/is when he's singing that song makes me crazy! so nass und heiß - so WET and HOT! Ahh, who the hell doesn't prefer the "harder" stuff? I'm with you on that! ;))))

You don't know the Darkness? Yikes, I will most definitely upload some for you. They were my major crush for a while. I saw them in April and June of 2004 (3 times altogether). The last show, I was in the front row. And I met one of the guys in the casino that night. They only have 2 CDs, and the first was surely the best. The second is just a bit too... soft - LOL!

Haha, I like it! And do I hear a little RHCP influence there? Some Give It Away and toward the end a little Rollercoaster??

I don't have a clue what they're saying either, but I get a feeling they're very entertaining. ;)

OMG, now I have to listen to that song for the 836501267th time today and listen for that! *giggles* I'm so obsessed with the chorus. "Here we come and we don't care mucho!" It just... really works for me clearly. *puts it on now*

My Spanish is so primitive, I can get no more than a handful of words, but eh, that's not a big deal to me. *G*

Hey, you don't have to understand it to like it! That chorus is addictive! And there is surely some RHCP stuff going on there. Or else it's just me, being all obsessed at the moment and such.... ;)

*looks around for one more thing to comment on* :P

Exactly. I don't get a huge amount of what Till's singing about (most songs I get the gist of thanks to Herzeleid.com, but I don't always know the literal meaning of each line). Don't need to know what's being said to appreciate great music *G*

And no, when I was listening to it again, I could tooootally hear what you were talking about! There are definite elements of RHCP happening in there!

*giggles* I laughed too! And I was like "Well at least they didn't spell it with a 'c'." *G* But I just looove the song.

It's... slightly rock-y, slightly pop-y, slightly techno-y (not more than the barest hint in the background and that's probably just me). It's just got this beat that gets me dancing *G*. And I love the first line of the chorus ("Here we come and we don't care mucho" which sounds dumb but I like how they say it!)

Ooh you know, I should just make you a CD of some songs that I really love... you might not like them but always worth a try and i love sharing my music!!
