So what do you call her? Sam? Sammy? Or something totally off-the-wall? My niece's name is Samantha and she mostly gets called Sammy... But it's funny how nicknames can morph - it starts off as one thing, and before you know it, people are like "what? where'd that name come from?" I call my cat Stickabodcrane, even though his real name is Stickie.... as if THAT'S not weird enough! :P
