I don't watch Avatar or know very much about the show, but that said?  This is still unacceptable.

(Short version: Avatar is an animated kids' show wherein all the cultures are based on Asian or Inuit cultures.  For the live action movie, they've cast everyone as white.  Long version: See post above.)

hmmm...i researched this a little bit, and the casting seems to be somewhat conflicting as of yet. i also read that jesse was in talks to get the part...then again, i also saw an article that said that dante basco (rufio from hook) was getting the role of zuko...don't know. just thought i'd put my googling to good use.

oh, and ps, i'll call you once my cold isn't trying to turn my head inside out and my finals have finished melting my brains. ^_^
