LOL ... it was long, wasn't it! :P Thank you for reading. ♥
And yay! Okay, here you go:
1. What are you most proud of yourself for having accomplished? 2. How did you meet your husband? 3. If you had to live somewhere else, where would it be and why? 4. What is one place you've always wanted to visit? 5. Are there other fandoms you've been in or are interested in besides LotR, V/O and HP?
I think, though, you're selling yourself short by not including yourself as a real writer. A writer is a person who writes. You write, nothing fake about it. It doesn't matter if you write for fun or with the intent to sell what you write. I mean, you wrote about how practice is making you a better writer, right? Sounds like a real writer to me. *g*
And wanting to finish your house is not boring! Hubby's been watching all the home improvement shows on HGTV on Saturday mornings for months now, and seeing what people go through with a remodel... sheesh! I can understand why you just want it done. The process looks like a royal pain.
Thank you! :D I really wound up doing some soul searching, especially around my job. Thank you for the questions. ♥

Well, yes ... that's lovely of you to say, and yes, I suppose I do write, but there are writers and there are Writers. :P I suppose that if I had to describe the way I engage in fandom, it *is* by reading and writing; I do write fanfic (and for fun) ... just not enough of it. :P
But then, I was kind of impressed when I looked back at that one year and a half stretch when I actually had a pretty decent output. So maybe there's hope! I am trying to figure out how I can wedge some sort of regular time in my schedule -- that is not late at night at 3 am -- when I could try to make it a regular practice. At least until I finish my A/L arc. Fingers crossed!
You are definitely a role model in that respect. :)
This kind of memes are so cool. Sadly I don't remember what I've read a week later, but just as I'm reading, I really feel that I get to know the person better. And I like it.
I have the weekend off, and if you feel like it, I'll answer whatever you ask. ;)
Yes, I really like learning more about people on my flist & I've missed you, besides. :D So ... YAY! :D Okay, here you go:
1. What house would you be sorted into at Hogwarts and why? 2. What was the pairing that first drew you into slash? 3. What is your favorite book? 4. Have you ever visited the U.S.? If so, where, and if not, where would you like to go? 5. What are you most proud of yourself for?
And ... *cheats*: 6) Should I start reading the Sookie Stackhouse books? (please tell me they're better than Twilight! :P)

The ideal job is indeed a hard one. :P I like my job a lot, but there are always tradeoffs, tradeoffs ... I'm hellishly busy as well. I just got through a week where I had to be in the office by 8:30 am Tue, Wed & Thu and it almost killed me! ;) *is a slacker* But seriously, I normally don't make it in until 10 am and it just threw our entire household routine into chaos. N. has been sick & home from school this whole week also, which is a nightmare.
Speaking of Buffy ... we just watched Seasons 1 - 3 w/ N. and are now on 4. I'm a little worried it's too adult for him (the up-against-the-wall sex in season 6?! :P) but ... well. I don't know. :P *flails*

Bleh, I'm swamped with work and an online class and leaving for LA this week and meanwhile all I want to do is watch the last season of Buffy again.
