maybe if you didn't open all the windows in the house no matter how cold and or rainy it is outside we wouldn't have to use our heaters so much.

I open the windows in the house because otherwise it smells really bad. Also I believe that it is in our lease that we will open the window in the bathroom so as to avoid mildew.

I don't open the windows in your room. If the cold air from the living room is getting into your room, you could put a towel or doorsnake under the door.
