The trick with camel is to relax your lower back. The back movement is a release of posture, not using your back to stick your bum out. You rarely if ever engage your lower back muscles in BD, so your back shouldn't ache, unless it's just been stretched a bit with the tuck, which is ok at first ;) use child's pose from yoga to gently stretch your back, but only when warm. In the long run you will feel it in your abs.
