It was definitely really hard to leave my cats behind when I moved away from home, but I at least had the comfort that they're still there and still recognize me when I come back.

Also, working during school isn't a huge deal, especially part-time. I've been doing it since I started, and it's honestly just a part of life.

Both of these things are hard adjustments to make, but I think your life will be richer for it. And if the cat can come with you, all the better-- but if not, it's actually something you'll get used to until you can have one again.

I'm sure I'll get used to it, the idea just makes me frown a lot. I know she's going to be close at my mom's and I do trust her to take care of Cookie, but ... we'll see.

The people who are renting were supposed to call me tonight and they didn't, which also makes me frown. SIGH. Hopefully things work out.

I also might have to move in by May 1, which would be ... hilariously quickly.

i have a hard time leaving my cat for vacation, so i totally get it. that said, if you're going to move out eventually, this sounds like a pretty good situation to move in to. :)
